for this website:
http://www.blackhawk.com/
Basically they sell everything the military and police forces use short of actual firearms. Everything from combat knives to body armor to breaching equipment, and everything in between.

Because my friend is awesome, he gave me $100 to spend on this website.
I don't know what to buy. Only ideas are a knife of some sort... or maybe combat goggles  Opinions?

If you live in a place where the temperature gets above 100 regularly like I do, you're going to want one of these.

They work great for high temps, and dusty sports like off-roading or ATV/motorbiking.

Knife, folding. Blades longer than 4 inches are not legal many places in the USA. Yellow is a good color-shows that you use it as a tool, not a weapon.

Everyone needs a good knife. Go for googles only if you motorcycle/dirtbike, or happen to get deployed often to the desert (like me...)
I am a firm believer that if a man or woman is of sound mind, are a citizen of the country they are living in, and have no criminal record; that they should be issued a good fixed blade knife, a reliable pump action shotgun, and the military rifle used by their country. Course that is just me. I would go with this knife

http://www.blackhawk...Tatang,4,35.htm

and get it with a serrated edge, serrations are absolutely amazing for cutting rope or anything tough. It also looks like it would make a fabulous steak knife!

Alright, that knife is looking pretty nice. Two recommendations, seems like a solid blade... HOLY horseapples IT'S 8.6" LONG
I like the goggles, and the head wrap, too, but I'm going to Minnesota where both of those would be nigh-useless. The knife, hell, I could kill a moose with that if I had to O.o

Hey! Lookie what arrived in the mail yesterday :3 Took long enough >.>

http://i814.photobuc...pg?t=1339791283

It comes with a handy-dandy-don't-shank-yourself sheath, too:
http://i814.photobuc...pg?t=1339791266
http://i814.photobuc...pg?t=1339791250

Big damn knife:
http://i814.photobuc...pg?t=1339791234
http://i814.photobuc...pg?t=1339791221
(iPod Touch 3rd gen for scale)

I don't think it's sharpened right now, but it has a wicked point on it. The thing is double-edged, too (I guess you'd call it that, I mean, both sids of the blade are bladed), which combines to make one seriously scary piece of metal. Time to learn how to use the thing.

Aha, you went with my recommendation! Good choice, get it good and sharp, not razor sharp, as a razor edge never holds for long under heavy use. I would also recommend getting yourself a good gatco sharpening kit. The kind with the angle guide and several different stones. They are very useful for sharpening.
