Niani curates products, events, and education mainly natural hair focused. “When I created this website, A Safe Space for Black Girls that Never Learned How to Braid, I knew that the girl that just couldn’t understand the concept of braiding existed and she wanted help without being judged, so I created a safe space for her!”Niani B.

A safe space offers classes on how to cornrow, how to box braid, and natural hair courses. They have been featured on NBC news, Essence.com, The New York Times, Blavity, Madamenoire, as well as Hello Beautiful.
The classes are taught by knowledgeable stylists, who have extensive experience styling some of the most popular braiding styles today. Their techniques are shared in live classes as well as pre-recorded videos that allow students to learn at their own pace.
